How are you jacking up your GS500?

I'm talking about jacking up with a typical motorcycle jack that lifts most bikes under the engine cradle.

The exhaust is right in the way.
The oil pan is there too, but should be strong.

If thinking about making a cradle out of wood or metal. It has to be low profile enough to fit under.
I looked at just using loose blocks of wood, but that seemed unstable.

Photos if you have them...Please.

TIA

Place bike on centerstand
I use standard car jack at front of oil pan...then I slide two jackstands under the sides of the frame.

I use one of the scissor lifts with adjustable frame rail posts.

I've used two of those jacks that come with cars (one outta my Spirit and one outta my Caravan) for each side of the frame. I'm at work and can't post pictures (imgur doesn't work on these computers for some reason) but there should be at least one picture of the setup in my project thread.
