the first price with the caron fibre was full system.
second was just for can as i had header pipes still.
i think the price for full system with polished alloy can is $625.
you would not believe the sound. it is absolutely awesome. it growls.
down shifting into a corner or upto lights she makes some nice sounds. i highly recommend it to any gs owner.
you lose a tiny bit of acceleration as it is a 52mm inner diametre from memory. but i am going to play with some slight restrictor plate just beofre the can to get the perfect balance.

Were you with someone else? I may have passed you on the way to robertson pie shop on Mac Pass had a bandit and another bike pass me the other way as I was heading up, would have been about that time

it may have been I was by myself  but  I did let a few bikes by? I think I left about 2.00. I also had a friend from who just got his L's was up there too with a friend. when he was up there this poor guy drop his bike

Hi Guys,

Last min I thought I would go for a ride up north to the Moss vale & back to the Robertson pie shop  :mrgreen: . I had a very good ride most of the way up the pass ( not going  full on doing my speed) I end up behind a car which was gong slow & Stopping to let car's down ( He start to piss me & other cars off anyway we around the very last hairpin & onto the overtaken area I thought I will overtake this guy ( I forgot I was still in 1 gear) I did my very first wheelstand  , well it was only small one, but it got the old heart going    as usely the pies were great. I went back the same way what a dream run down :mrgreen: . Well if anyone is thinking of come down my way this long weekend , you may want to have seconed thoughts from Albion Park Rail to Kiama the speed was 0-20kms max   .

hey guys!!! good to see some aussies on here. Im getting a new gs500e or f model soon   i just passed my L's down at nowra but i live in sydney. I should have the bike within 2-3 weeks depending on a few things. Although i cant get my actual Leaner licence until the 23rd of october bcuz im not 16'9months yet only 16'8monts  But will definatley wanting to come for a ride!! My bro who is 20 might be getting a gs500 too so more the better i say.

I know exactly how u feel. I was with my old man going from his house at shoal haven heads to wollongong to look at some bikes (2005 gs500 for me!  :lol: ) and it was bumper to bumper, stop start stop start. Couldnt go in on saturday as the traffic was to bad and we got up late. Its funny i didnt think there was any aussies on here and then i here you talking about places i know (kanga/pie shop/nowra/WSID my friend works there she lets me in for free  :lol: any if you guys have msn add me Hybird52 at hotmail dot com (worded it like that so spamers dont get my address) Im only young with only dirt bike experience so when i do come for a ride i need someone to stay back ahahha

Not this year I did think about it but, I have taken two weeks off work for the Snowyride this year, but hey maybe next year    I work at south Nowra on the highway & every year when I'm down the front near the road I see all the bike going down & say to myself these Lucky guys& Girls

Im only young with only dirt bike experience so when i do come for a ride i need someone to stay back ahahha  

When we ride in a group we always have someome at the back so if we have someone new , so they don't get left behind & We use like too ride as a group, if anybody does want to have a run we go for it  then we wait for everyone up the road the best it not to try to keep with the fast ones , you should alway ride to your ability even if it means a little slower. I have friend down here who recently got his L's & was out for a ride with his mate who rides a Cbr900 , he rides fast anyway my friend took a a lefthander wrong & run off the road because he was trying to keep up with his mate he some how did not drope the bike very lucky guy , I hope it has made wake up abit.

Went for a ride with the HRCA (Honda riders club) yesterday down south. Ended up going from the pie shop, to Jamberoo via Mt Jamberoo Rd. What a horrible road, so tight and narrow. I'm sure it'd be great if there was no oncoming traffic, but as is every corner is blind and only one lane wide  
Rest of the ride was good, apart from me feeling crook all day  

Think something came loose on my bike too, I swear I can hear a rattle. Time to check it out  :x

Cool    Yep I know how you feel about Mt Jamberoo Rd   I use to live near oak flats & have use that road before in the car & the bike . I pref the pass wich is  better a  road to ride on, I would like to see the lines all the way up from the start.

Has Steve had any problem with the police  with the restrictors out , I have been told that with out them it about 95 ?  :dunno:  which is just over the limit anyway I might take it out on Sat if the Weather is ok.

Gday                                                                                                                                                                                                                      going out today to get the bends![use up last of front tyre,new one comming] Going solo most of the local blokes have gone to Phillip Island   I did,nt go new tyre +new lid=no dough! How is everyone ? havent seen to many aussie posts lately.Might have to ride up the GONG one day i could do with a pie. Trying to get some pics organised ,not having much luck im waiting for a mate to emil them to me.                  next time

Hi DINGO,

When I had my GS,  my tyres last only 5000kms  from new I was  hopeing I would get about 8000kms. Well look on the good side at lest your tyres are cheaper them what I will be payiing for my Bandit when I need new tyres their are $ 300 each   . I work at south nowra on the Highway & all this week All I could hear was bike going down to Phillip Island ( lucky guys & girls) I thought about going , but I have taken two week off to do the SnowyRide in Nov. maybe next year I will go down.

if you ever come my way please let me know before hand & we might be able  meet & go for a ride & I will do the same if I come down your way

Gotta tell you, the gp weekend was great !!!
I live in Cranbourne where the gp run starts from. It is so cool that a whole town closes down the main street so the bikes can ride off. There where probably close to 10,000 bikes it was wicked !!
the sound was undescribable. something i recommend to all riders doing once. There where thousands of people all the way along the freeway that come out to watch the bikes. it would have to be the greatest event on the aussie m/cycling calendar.

Cool   did you take any pics :mrgreen:  last years snowyride  I went down on Fri mor & I end up at the ser at East Jindy taking pics of bike come down for the snowyride ( I will probleo the same this yaer too ) .

Hi Guys once again for some reason the site didn't notify me about the messages don't know why, hope everyone has been well.
Matt steve's had no problems with the cops but both him and I have been a bit slack and haven't been out for a ride in about a month  :x  so have to go out soon.
Also hooray only a month to go to the snowy run, hopefully phillip island next year.
Also guys go to the main forum page and put yourselfs on the GS map judging by it there are only 3 people outside the US that own GS 500 we have to show them that the GS is popular all around the world

Update: what a great start I end up not taken the long way by  coast & up. I went up & over to Kangaroo Valley and on to  Bowral & from here campbelltown  i wait for 20min to see if anybody else was comming but i notice that the weather was getting a little bad ( Very Black ) So i thought I would get going , it was a race to beat the storm. I heading to Mittagong for a gas & I seen how black it was over there , not good i said to mysefl I took the Picton RD to wollongong  & gas up at Albion Park Rail it start to rain  :x I made it home & guess what Mum say they have had no rain all day :dunno:  .
