motorcyclenews.co.uk reviewed something that clips onto the handlebars and flashes and beeps if you leave your blinker on for more than 20 flashes.

This thread makes me think of Evilscooby's thread in Odds'n'Ends with the Spaceball girl.

As luck/fate/whatever you believe in would have it...I forgot to tie mine up today while heading towards work.  Figured it out about 100 yards down my street, but immediately thought of this post.  Darn forum, it's always messing with my mind!!!

You won't believe it, but when I had to do my riding exam, I was so nervous I forgot to close the chin strap. I didn't notice until I was riding at 80 km/h when the thing started slapping against my neck. It's actually something you can fail for, so I was like: "he doesn't see it, he doesn't see it :o  (He was riding behind me with my instructor in the car).  As soon as I stopped at the lights I tried to close it, but I had thick wintergloves so it didn't work and the light went green again.... Only after 15 mins. I had the chance of closing it. He saw it, but didn't say anything. I was really lucky.
This was the same exam that I went pegdragging through a corner because I went in a little enthousiastic  and also the same exam that I decided to give full throttle instead of braking hard for a railroadcrossing that just started to blink its lights (don't worry, I was way on time :P ).  I did pass. I think I made it because he saw I had good control over the bike and I was watching the traffic very carefully.
