Ok, just a question...purely cosmetic..but would anyone with an 05 want to swap an 04 tail in white with your 05 blue tail?  Then your bike will be mainly white (besides graphics and tank area) and mine will be mainly blue (besides graphics).  

Ok, now that Im typing this is sounds pretty dumb...but just curious...and throwing it out there anyway  ;o)

The Clymer or Haynes up to the 02 should cover about everything you need. Then go to the dealer and ask for the supplemental manual that covers the 04, it will have only the changes in it, front forks, fairing, electrical, etc.

That tail swap would look pretty good!    

A swap would be good... My buddy has been going through hell trying to mix a match for the '04 blue..
