I removed my front wheel to replace a tire.  While getting it off I noticed that the axle bolt had some grease on it.  I managed to rub most of it off handling it to get it out.  Do I need to regrease it?  if so what kind of grease?

thanks

Sam

scratch

It should be re-greased. Personally, I use Bel-Ray Waterproof grease.

I use the leftover grease after frying chicken. Love the little GS, Russia (back in the USSR), and this forum.
