I just bought my 2004 GS500F on Sunday. Bought it with 41 miles on it for $3000. Currently, it has 310 miles on it. I LOVE it but having a wicked hard time finding aftermarket parts for it. I am getting the Vance and Hines exhaust tho. My stock exhaust is FAR too quiet for my tastes.  If anyone knows any good places to look for parts, let me know!

i personally prefer a quiet exhaust... i know once I get my 03 zx-6r with two brothers slip on and a silencer insert it will be great to zip by and not make too much noise, Harleys sound like their dying, supersports sound realy clean and healthy while moving around, the oscillations are quicker and shorter...

I dont want anything that will blow peoples ear drums. Just something that sounds more "sporty". I like to hear bikes when they drive by, but when I drive by, you cant hear ANYTHING. its like I wasnt even there. I heard a bike with a Vance and Hines exhaust, Dyno Jet Kit and K&N filter and it sounds pretty good. Nothing too drastic. I just have been searching the internet for weeks trying to find some parts to but I cannot seem to find ANYTHING! Very fusterating. IF anyone knows of any good sights....it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
