Got gas here Tue for 2.59, Wed gas was at 3.09 most places, and 3.19 at some!

With us already consuming gas at capacity, as soon as supply drops (Katrina), prices jump.

It's going to be like this forever unless we suddenly find huge new supplies of oil or move off the oil-based economy. I wouldn't be surprised if gas is $10/gal in 5 years.

I think it's a temporary rise due to the hurricane.  But...   Who really knows.  Peak oil has come or is right around the corner.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the tanker truck filling up the gas station's tank - haha screw the armored car guard, you're gonna need a guard at every tanker truck nowadays!!!

lane splitting is NOT LEGAL in texas by ANY MEANS.  that bill died in legislation and once again, it is NOT LEGAL to lane split in TX.
