I'm a member of the trackday junkies.....
Last weekend I drove down to VIR for my introduction to Track riding, I'm hooked. The track is awesome :thumb: ,The pro-motion team are great :thumb:  And VA rocks.

My first track photo.

The ride to the track, HWY 58.

Side by side track action.

Just the bikes.

250 for the track day and school..they require all first timers to go school.

school= talking about how to ride a track....picking lines, body position, speed control and then you ride with an instructor. One shows what we talked about the other watchs to see if you understood.... Each riding session lasts about 15-20 min, at least 10 laps. I rode 5 times with the instructors then they cut me loose for another 4 sessions. by the end of the day I was beat, I passed on two riding sessions. Everyone was really helpful, no one gave the little Gs a hard time... on my last set I was dogging an R1....that got some  :thumb:

Sorry about not cluing you in, But I'll be back to VIR...the track is awesome( I said that before...I'll say it again) tight twisty only 1.1 mile in length.

very nice   :thumb:

i've only ridden two tracks this 1st season and i thought i was in heaven when i was at vir north. pir in pocono is good since it's the closest to home but it's flat, unlike vir north with its' elevation changes.

now that you've been bitten by the track-bug, i'll have a new pit friend at pir

btw - i heard there was a lowside in the whitegroup...

not to many requirements. just mainly leathers, helmet gloves boots and good tires, for your first time. check it out.

two low sides in the white group; one happened right in front of me, was all in slow motion.

I'll be at the track again, can not wait till spring.

Man, seeing those make me really really anxious to get to the track next month. Nice pics! That track looks like a lot of fun, very technical.

I'm surprised they let cars and bikes run at the same time, though. Did anyone have to mix it up with those Porsches?

The cars were on a different track, our track ran on the inside. It just made for some very interesting veiwing. The cars were on the North course I think.
This was at V I R, outside Danville, Va. I thought it very funny that I had to drive to Milton, NC to get there.
