Yeah that's what they predicted for us too.  I really want to call and yell at them.

On a brighter note, I managed to blow out (like completely :x ) the engine in my car so until it gets fixed I get to drive a boat of a car that really enjoys a good fishtail.  ARRGG.  I almost died twice today.  Stupid stupid stupid Yukon that thinks it can go 100 mph on a snow and ice (did I mention ICE?) covered zero traction road - you better check your tire pressure in the morning :x !!!

Oh and it only took me an hour to get back from class tonight (should have been 15 minutes TOPS)

They re calling for freezing rain here in the Traingle so it should be interesting to see what happens on my way to work tommorrow night.

I drove the jeep.  There was ice everywere, yeah we didn't get snow here in blacksburg, just sleet and freezing rain.  It was mid 20's when I left, got to ork to find out i could have come in at 1 :x

I don't ride when it's in the 20's either...I just know I'd find one of those black ice patches (and I'd hate to add to the bike-drop count!).

We got 10" on Wednesday night.  Re-dic-u-lous. . . Took me an hour and 45 minutes to cover the 9 miles between my office and home.  Looks pretty though.  I am going snowboarding tomorrow!

We just got rolled over.  I'd estimate we got 12" since this morning, most of it in the past 3 hours or so.  At times it was coming down around 2-3"/hour.  White out, blizard conditions, and occasional lightning.  And my plow guy hasn't shown up yet.  :x

Looks like it might be easing off now.
