I just took my entire engine apart to change an oil seal on my Left exhaust valve, and that actaully turned out OK.  My problem is that my throttle seems out of adjustment now, and since it is difficult to get to with the tank on, I can't seem to get it adjusted properly.  SO, does anyone know a procedure to easily adjust my throttle????   I need the GS to teach an Experienced Rider Course on Tuesday, so any quick responses would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You can either adjust it at the throttle grip with the nut there, or just take the tank off.  That takes what, 10, 15 minutes?
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:

or

When you have the tank off, just make sure that you have a little slack in the throttle cable (i.e. that when you twist the throttle grip there is no immediate response at the carb butterflies, but that you have to twist it for a little before the cable starts to pull.)

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
