Hey!
I'm a new female rider also (seemed to have missed out on all the leg-humping you're getting though. ;) ).  I had the same problem finding a jacket.. The women's jackets were too small in the boobs, but the men's jackets were all too small in the hips.  Apparently, hourglass figures have been outlawed.  I ended up with a Joe Rocket women's Alter Ego, and it fits amazingly.  Just thought I'd throw that out there.

And welcome! :)
We should be careful to get out of an experience only the wisdom that is in it - and stop there; lest we be like the cat that sits down on a hot stove lid. She will never sit on a hot stove lid again - and that is well; but also she will never sit down on a cold one anymore. ~Mark Twain~

No kidding same problem here...  BUT I had to end up with the mens, I just have it a little high on my hips and then its a little baggy on the boobs but with 40DDD it doesn't look to bad!!!!

Nice to meet another IE'er. I'm over in Redlands, not far from you.
+1 on the MSF. Good stuff.
If you're interested, a friend (Yamaha FZ6 rider) has organized a group ride up to Big Bear on July 9. I'm a rank beginner and he says I should be able to handle it, so it might be a good chance for you (and your husband) to learn in a group envrionment...

Welcome!

Big Bear is funny, depends on which way you go...  We have done it before with about 20 friends but we went up the 215 through Highland to some freeway I wanna say 30 or 330??  :icon_confused:  it was alot of turns but then we went down the other side and it was more fun!!!  I can't remember the roads  :dunno_white: BUT I will see about getting a babysitter to go...  Email the info please!!!

funny story...one very very HOT afternoon, I was riding w/ my brother-in-law and I kept my jacket less than half way zipped, I had a tank-top underneath.  Abt 30 mins into the ride, I was wondering why I felt wind on my "nips"  :o.  Of course, you can't look down on yr chest so I looked at the mirror to find out that when I rode past 50 mph, the wind pulled my shirt & bra slightly downward .  Anyone in a SUV or higher were able to see "them", if they wanted to.  My husband laughed sooo hard when I told him.  Now I'm looking for a mesh jacket that I can keep zipped up.  I liked the Joe Rocket Cleo, thinking of buying it.

It happens.. definitely get a jacket that you can keep zipped up. I bought my Fieldsheer jacket for $80...once when I was being squidly on my 350 (...is that possible) I didn't wear a jacket (I know..stupid stupid..shut up) well the wind sucked it right up over the bra and kinda bunched it under my arms...I kept trying to tuck it into my pants...didn't work so well...yet another reason to wear a jacket...
