I've kinda been out of the action for the last six weeks or so.  Been rejecting all but family and work.  (I know - have values mildly out of order but a man's gotta eat.)

Noticed yesterday that Two-Wheel Tuesday with Greg White was not on yesterday's SPEED TV schedule.  Did a quick scan and came up empty for the next five weeks.  Anybody know what happened?  Was it summarily dropped by the network?

I started watching it from when it was 90-minutes, then watched it drop to 60 then to 30 minute length.  (A blind man can see where this was going, but..)   I know that it had little in the content department, but it did cover topics you don't otherwise see, and the interviews of the AMA racers were mildly entertaining ...like where Jeremy McGrath bought 80 acres of land to play motocross with and his neighbours hit him with a violation of a noise ordinance...

Seems like there are only cruiser shows left.  Apart from MC racing this was the last of the reasonably useful shows that looked at the sport from different angles.

What's the poop?

They had a final show a couple weeks ago. (I think)

They showed kinda like a "best of" at the end of the show.

Wonder what ultimately sunk it.  I'd guess spending half-again as much as a ZX-6R cost with aftermarket hop-ups.  If it didn't have a sponsor funding it, I know I'd be pissed.

No matter.  More air space for the "potato-potato" V-Twin crowd.   

BTW, Thanks for clearing up this small mystery.

I keep missing most of the repeat viewings, but I thnk he was going on a road trip somewhere...

All I know is that speed channel is showing wayy too much nascar. The only good shows are on very late at night, and there are only like 1 or 2.

... Hence why the VCR, TiVo and the DVD Burner were invented.

That's just too much work. Plus I don't have digital cable so no speed channel for me. I try not to watch very much TV and get outside and do stuff.

Now you can watch "Superbikes" instead, and learn about the stuntaz.

I actually found myself watching that show yesterday.  They had some tips for track racing.  VERY informative...

Such as HOW to lean off the bike.  Shoulders stay paralell with the handle bars, never twisted.

See I'm a big World Rally Championship fan. And at first they took my 90 minutes and lowered it to 60. Then this year they didn't even renew it at all. So now i have to get my WRC fix by way of the Europeans.

So two wheel tuesday going away doesn't surprise. But Fox is losing Nascar next year. So what will happen to Speed?

I miss going to my friends house and watching WRC. I think about 6 months ago he said it was on late at night around like 2 or 3 am.

Um... well... there IS a way to see it again. Um... see there is a place that isn't a bit torrent either.

When I first saw a commercial for SuperbIkes, I thought that I would NEVER be caught watching it, 'cause I thought it was mainly squidls stuff that makes all bikers have a bad rep.

I'm definitely gonna try and catch the next episode.

Dude. It is all about squids and stunting and the "sportbike lifestyle". I hear it's nothing but crap from everyone I talk to.

The little section I did get to see was about track days and some tips on how to have more fun.  I saw it as informative.
