Hello,
Before I ask my question I just wanted to let yall know I bought my first bike (stock Red 96 GS 7000 miles) for $1800 2 1/2 months ago and I am loving every minute of it :) . I commute everday to work and I'm always looking for an excuse to ride. Just so you know how crazy I am about the GS500, I traveled to Georgia to get it and drove nonstop back! What's worse, the bike was dropped in a low speed fender bender on the way back causing minor damage  .  Next time I'll rent a truck or trailer.

Anyways, I have a bunch of questions to ask, but I will limit them to one a day so as not to overkill:

Which rain gear setup should I get:
1) summer jacket w/ waterproof liner (Belstaff Zentia)
2) summer jacket + separate rain jacket and pants (Belstaff Zodiac + Belstaff Imola jacket/pants combo)
3) summer jacket + full rainsuit

If you were to choose #2 would you get an oversized rain jacket to fit over the summer jacket or use as standalone?

If you were to choose #3 what brand(s) to recommend for full rainsuit?

I'm not going to suggest anything but this is what I have.

I have a Joe rocket meteor jacket for the whole year (its fine in summer as long as you take the liner out and open the vents)  Then I went out an bought a tourmaster 2 piece rain suit my size.  If it is just sprinkling/light rain I will put on the pants and the jacket will keep out 90% of the rain.  But if it is raining hard I will wear my rain pants and put the rain jacket on UNDER my Meteor jacket.  Just keep in mind that a rainsuit is NOT!!! protective gear and will shred if you go down.  and you will more likely go down in the rain so you dont want to be wearing less gear than you would wear on a non rainy ride.  :thumb:
