i cant sleep..so ill just share it....

its been a month since my purple gs got stolen.....and it seems like forever....im so bike sick right

now.....basically, its secured parked in my carport with disc lock with a cover on and sandwiched between a wall

and my car parked in an angle so theres no way out....this summer i decided to paint them nice wheels

black.....06/25/06.....i came home from work and shocked that he covers are off...didnt realy make a big deal out

of it just  give my visiting cousins hell for lookin at it and not putting the covers back back properly....06/26/06

1130... came back with my cousin from playing ball in the park.....parked my car straight this time coz i plan to put

back the rear wheel from being painted later that day.....1300....i came down to drop something for summer

school....start the car looked at my right side...."oh sh*t" x 1000...."they effing took it".....i run back up to the

apartment and told everyone....my lil sis drove around the block to check for anything suspicious...and i called

the cops.....sucks balls...id never imagine someone taking an purple bike without a rear wheel, sprocket/hub, and

battery... ...

i only got liabilty insurance  for it coz for some odd reason i got no money during renewal (comprehensive cover was +

$70 now that ive check doh!)....so little chance to get her back.....i fitted the painted front  wheel on it weeks

before and she looks so good and mean...i was hesitant to post it here to see if the thief

is dumb enough to sell it here....im still browsing CL and ebay for it.....not really lookin for sympathy or

anything......just posting up to help others be aware that stupid thieves will steal anything...get a chain and lock

it up in a post...and get comprehensive coverage to get some money....sigh....ill miss that old, rusty, soft

Amazing.  Why the hell would anybody steal a 500 beginner bike with no rear wheel?  f%$king idiots.

In concord back in 1995 I had a 92 katana stolen and it was missing a front wheel and hanging from the rafters of my carport. Dunno why ... but I guess if they're breaking it off and selling pieces its all the same.

As a fellow Ex-purple GS-er.....My thoughts are with the little sucker.  That really sucks man.  Even more about the liablility  part.   

I really don't know what to say...really really sorry, people will do anything for a buck or two.

On a side note, my buddy has a ninja 250 in his garage. The suspension is a little soft...but we maybe he would be willing to sell it real cheap... just to get you riding again...

cool thanx jonah  ...pm some info on the 250....i have progressive springs (planned for the gs  ) here which i think would work with with the ninja.....im actually lookin into mini racing (ysr, nsr, minimotard)...so i can secure the bike inside our place .....
