Hey all,

I'm looking to you guys/girls for some help getting my bike started without having to pay 80/hr to have someone do it for me. I have stabilizer in my gas, I have new plugs, I have drained old gas and drained carbs, plugs have a spark. I can get the bike to turn but won't start. Please , please people I need your help!! What are some things I can do. Should I take the carbs apart?

Steve

Well, does it sound like it wants to start or is it just turning over? Any difference with choke on or off?

I have found the GS to be difficult to start after a lay-up. Given that it was ok before you laid it up and you are happy the fuel is ok I would be tempted to take the air filter out and put a few shots of Easy-start into the airbox as you crank it and see if it catches.

Be sure to put it on prime  :thumb: that will let the carbs fill back up. also a shot of starting fluid in the airbox may help it along.
