I give.

I'm Brian.

Born and Raised in Pennsylvania and have lived here except for the time that I have spent in California (San Fran), Texas (San Angelo) and on the beautiful island of Oahu in the service of our Country (hua Army).

I am third generation Irish/American married to a beautiful Greek woman, so my 3 children will be great looking drinkers with bad tempers  :thumb: .

Beware.
No time to wash the bike

I am 34, married and have three beautifull girls (one being my wife of course).  My daughters are 5 and 3.  I took the MSF classs in July of this year and purchased a used 1997 GS in August.  I love riding and wear all of the gear ALL OF THE TIME.  I have too much to live for.   I live in a small border town in southern Arizona.  Nogales, AZ.  There are a lot of places to ride without having to get into heavy traffic.  The elevation is just shy of 4,000 feet so I can enjoy year round riding.

Manix

Hi folks.

I just bought a -98 GS500E on monday so I'm as new as one can be. :)
My first 'real' motorcycle by the way.

Woz

How about this for new Manix?

I haven't even picked up my new GS from the dealer yet.  Getting it on Wednesday..

Btw, I'm Mark, 33 from Lancashire UK.  Been commuting to work on a 1987 Virago 400 for a few years now but the thing finally decided blow up on me last week.  It would cost more to repair than the bike is worth so I decided to scrap it get a 500 commuter.  All thigs considered (insurance, looks, mainainance etc) I decided that the Suzuki was the one for me.

Can't wait!

Heh, OK, that's new. :)

Sadly I drove my GS to winter storage yesterday so my driving season this year was only 3 days.  :(

It won't be long until there's 3 meters of snow on the ground, you see. That's Finland for ya.  :thumb:

Lucky13

Greetings all. I am new as a member to this forum but have been reading for awhile. My significant other (Moose) has been on here for a little while so I decided to join up to seperate our identities. He recently bought a 91gs500, my background is more in european bikes and I was at a loss when it came to his new project. My last bike was a 1978 Motto guzzi G5 and I sold it several years ago when I decided to become a mom. His project has brought back that yearning to be on 2 wheels. Our youngest son has autism and loves bikes, he doesn't repond to many things but the sound of a motorcycle gets his attention and his face lights up. Moose, myself, and our 2 boys live in Euless texas. We hope to have the bike up by spring so we can start working on a bike for me and take both our boys riding. Anyway, ther is a little bit about me and mine...

TTFN,
Lucky13

Lucky13, one of my favorite memories from childhood, was when my dad took me on motorcycle rides. He only had a bike for a few months and then he sold it
Word of warning, you may have to buy your kids cars to keep them off motorcycles when they become legal driving age.

This is true... PLEASE tell Moose this, he is wanting to get our oldest a dirt bike to cut his 2 wheel teeth on so to speak.

No that would be a four wheeler first, then a dirt bike later.  Then for his first motorcycle my GS500 when he gets old enough.

Moose & Lucky13, I am just warning you I blame those rides my father took me on for my addiction with motorcycles. At 16 after getting my liscence I promptly bought POS 77 KZ400. After my first emergency room visit my Dad bought me a car if I promised to lose the bike. I showed him by getting a Yamaha 440 when I moved to college.

Hey folks!

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread, so here goes.. apologies if this is redundant.

I'm Ron from State College, PA.  I'm a graduate student in the chemistry department here at Penn State, so I spend most of my time working or thinking about work (yuck).  Before moving to PA I have lived in Maryland and in southwest Virginia (go Hokies!!).  I would have to say that of all of these places, the mountain empire of SW Virginia is by far my favorite place to be  :)   Gotta love those Appalachian twisties  :thumb:
