[rant]Well i start marking the course for the tour ( stickied in this section) i go to location to place a sign proceed to ( using a small 2lb hammer) pound the stakes into the ground i miss the stake and hit my hand  about an inch behind my index finger 
saying to myself, ill be damned if i do THAT again, later on at the third sign i had to hang, 30 total, i DO IT AGAIN double f%$k ! i say out loud this time, same hand between the thumb and the index finger. now from the hammering, my right hand is blistered in 6 places on 4 fingers, well fast forward about two hours I HIT MY f%$king HAND AGAIN  even teh guys running the bulldozers heard me cursin. hit SAMNE hand again at teh base of my thuimb. now it makes funny noises when it moves, more like popping noises. and it is swelled up a bit. and to beat it all, a storm comes through later on knocking down a few of the signs, which, while in pain i had to replace. still am in pain, but am coping now lol [/rant]

Yama.Quick Grab some Epsom Salts.Run some Water as Warm or Hot as you can stand and Pour in some Salts.Soak your Hand for a few Hours.In the Morning when you get up Alternate Soaking Between Hot and Cold Water to releive any Swelling.

I mashed my Thumb so bad one time on an Old Worn out Can't hook one time helping an Old Feller Log where I work.I Mashed it so bad Blood Squirted out from under my Thumb Nail. I jumped around Hollering Profanity for a While. I wish I had Known He was a Preacher so He Could Have Prayed for it.

no epsom salts availabl;e atm, AND no insurance either, i can move it, ill just see if the pain goes away, cause i gotta do the same shaZam! tomorrow, but i have a friend who is a welder ( like myself) i called him earlier this evening asking if he had any spare stock around, he is like sure man whatcha need, i explained what happened, i described to him what i need  we ended up making a post driver. ( a tube which goes down over a post, you raise it up, and then down HARD. the weight of the thing will allow me to do it one handed if need be. it does work. when i had to reset signs after the storm. it was the farkin bomb

OK to get by without it Hurting so bad Hold your Hand Straight up Above your Head While you Walk. Really actually and Truley it works.They taught me that When I cut my Left Index Finger Halfway off while Topping Tobacco.Went and Had it Stitched back on at the Local ER.They told me when the Numbing Wore off to Hold my Hand Straight up.As Soon as I walked out the ER Doors I had my Hand in the Air.
