I was looking at buying a smoked integrated tail light for my gs500f and was wondering if anyone has an idea of a good place to order one from. And if I could get a part number that would be awesome, thanks

let me know how it works for you and how hard it is to put on. Also has anyone put frame sliders on their gs500f yet? I was just wondering if there were any out there for it yet.

it is easy to install and works great.  btw i just asked the slider question this am simple answer is no not without some cutting and frigging around.  besides sliders are over rated

i got to disagree with that! sliders cost anywhere from $60-$120. fairings are much much more than that. i work the parts counter at a dealer, so i should know, ive sold many. anywhere from $400 to $700 per side depending on what model your talking about. not to mention damage to engine cases...etc...

i would consider them a must have for just about any bike!!!

Here.I got mine from ebay,brand new,$30 shipped.It's an 01-02 Yamaha R1 by clear alternatives,bolts right in.

will it fit my 2003 GS500?

I use the same idea as Bentogo . i may have even decided to do it first lol  , but mines a clear LEd light , with Intergrated Turn Signals 

is yours also made for the r1? Where did you get your integrated tail light at?

I just traded in the GS. I had a cracked right fairing, the stealer priced it to be fixed to determine the trade in value, it cost $209 with graphics.

does the 03 have the changes to the taillight that the 2004 and up have?  if not i have a clear lense led integrated light still in the box

Yep its made for the r1 , my tail light , but my undertray , makes it fit even better

look for led tailing gs500F on ebay got myself one for 80$ including lense and led light intergrated turn signals as well..
