if your starting it when it is cold, is the choke on and the petcock in prime?

if so and it still has trouble have you checked the amount of power comming from your battery?

Check your spark plugs.

is there enough gas in the tank?

I think it would be a lot easier for people to help if you give more information.  It could be a lot of different things.

A more descriptive title than "bike" would be helpful too.

EDIT: I was beaten to the punch.

Apollo

nastynate6695

Ok it was running fine a week ago.  You left your bike outside under cover for 1 week.  Once you got back it will not start up.

Did you check to make sure the red kill switch is on run?

Try doing this

1 Put key in ignition
2 turn ignition to on position
3 make sure the red kill switch is on the Run position
4 make sure bike is in Neutral
5 open choke
6 pull in clutch and press the starter button

Is your bike trying to start or when you press the starter it just sits there?

pandy

So...to clarify...it WILL start, but it has to turn over a lot to start? Was this just the first time you tried, or is it doing this consistently?

Oh boy ok.  So the bike starts but it's hard to start?

Try recharging your battery and see what happens.
