I changed my bars recently, and in doing so had to change the angle of the banjo bolt for the master cylinder, not much but enough to free it up a touch.  Well, long story short, after everything was was put back together and snug enough to check tolerances yet free enough to adjust, I swung my legs over and grabbed a hand full of front brake!  Much to my dismay, The banjo bolt for the front master cyl. was still loose and out shot a porno sized load of brake fluid all over my front fender like it was Krystal Steals chest.  In the short time that it took me to run upstairs and grab paper towels... it had already begun to eat the clear on the fender.  Luckily, it was on the back so it's kind of tucked under the fairing... but I still hate myself!  I guess I don't really have a point, just though I share a little stupidity with you all.  And if you're working with brake fluid, cover EVERYTHING!  you'll thank yourself when you spill.

Bet you will not make that mistake again. Look on the bright side... it did not happen while riding.
