bar end mirrors

I've decided that I can't take the stock mirrors anymore and am going to remove them.  My problem is that I have bars have that tac weld crap in them and I can't knock them out.  I plan on eventually replacing my bars but in the meantime I need a mirror (only one since I live in FL).  I think I saw a bar end-ish mirror that straps on to the bar end.  It may be for a bicycle but I'm not sure.  I've searched Google and can't find any.  Does anyone know where I can pick these up?

EBAY! You can find anything on ebay.

Any shop that can go thru Parts Unlimited, they can get part # AM1000 and that's a velcro-on black aluminum mirror.

I can't vouch for it's performance at speed or otherwise, as I went right for the CRG LS 3" bolt-on, which I love to death.

Why not buy proper bar end mirrors and then just tap out a thread?

I've tried to tap those welds out but couldn't as hard as I tried.  I want to get new clubmans but then I have to get them drilled and I want something in the meantime.

These are cheap. They're not metal, and don't vibrate much. They also aren't optimal.

You want something that will be elevated 1-2 inches above the bar's centerline at least.

Before you spend money, try out some sv650 mirrors. If you're considering chrome bars, chrome sv mirrors will look sweet.

Good luck, and don't forget to use them ;)
