I am about to order rebuild kits for my carbs and jets.  What jets would you guys recommend for my setup?  I'll be running a K&N filter and the Ducati monster exhaust I was talking about earlier in the thread.
Anyway, back to my question.

Anyone have a suggestion on what jets I should use?  I usually get good helpful responses here.   :dunno_white:

You need a rebuild if and only if you are leaking gas at the float gasket. All the rest is cheaper buying individual pieces and just replacing those.
Your bike is what year - more specifically what carbs you got.
For a 89-00 I'd run 150/40/1 washer/3 turns. Float set to top of bowl. You dont ahve airbox right ??
Cool.

Thanks! Bike is a 95.  I'm not sure what carbs.  I'll look at them tonight.  No airbox.  I'll be running the K&N lunchbox.  I don't think the float gasket is leaking, but since I have rebuilt everything else why not the carbs.

Usually rebuilding the carbs makes it worse ... rebuilding as a term for replacing O rings, IMHO is a synonym for "I dont know WTF I am doing".
Float gasket leaks = rebuild kit, and swap that gasket. Mikuni dont usually leak.
Cool.

Well since you are the "The guru Ba-moo-derator", I won't rebuild them yet.  I'll rejet and see how she runs.  Thanks for the help!

The Buddha

If its not leaking especially at the float gasket, no need for rebuild kit. And forget about ever using the word rebuild. You still have to bench test the carbs and check for leaks and swap the bad O rings.
Yes clean and jet. Definete.
Cool.

Not sure what you are looking for.  I've posted all the pics I have.  Are you looking for more detailed pics of the seat frame?

Some progress.  Small progress, but progress nontheless.  I made the bracket for the taillights and turn signals.  Now I just need to mount it on the bike! :D

Where did the signal lights come from? They have a nice aero shape.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Tail light and signals are from a Ducati monster.

What material did you use for your bracket? What did you use to bend it? I'm wanting to make a bracket for my stock taillight so I can flip it over and recess it further into the body.

Some aluminum I had laying around.  I clamped it to a metal table and pushed down on it with my hands.  Very low tech! :)  The piece that will mount to the bike is a small piece of 90 degree angle aluminum I had laying around.  Just cut it to the desired length and bolted it on.
