I took my fairings off and this pice fell out and I cant find where it goes. I know it doesn't look that important but i would still like to put it on.

It holds the inner black piece ( behind the guages U shaped) on the upperfairing to the fairing and it is broken, I broke mine changing my fairings, I think it is works by expanding when you push them in and when you pull the black u shaped piece out of the upper fairing they come apart into two pieces , there are 4 of them that hold the piece in the fairing,  I know my discription sucks but I hope is was some help, by the way my local suzuki dealer had none so my pieces are not completly secure now.
