Me and my buddy went riding for the first time yesterday.  It was actually the first time I have gone on a "hard" ride in over a year, since I had an accident on my Ninja ZX6-E and broke my wrist.  We got to the turn around point, and stopped for some snacks and to pee.  My buddy offered to let me ride his bad ass duck the whole way back.  I was hesitant at first.  I mean, that was like 120-130 whp.  He said to not worry, and just ride slow.  Yeah right!

Oh my god!  This thing was so god damn fast, and a whole lot of fun.  It was like an extension of my body.  There were a couple of straights where I barely opened it up, and was instantly going 120 MPH.  It was pretty funny seeing him on my GS500, in full leathers and racing boots.  I don't know how I am ever going to want to ride my poor little GS again...

Lucky bastard. God they are beautiful bikes.  

Where did you go riding?

We went out around Chula Vista, and out the 94, like around the Otay area, getting close to Tecate.  It was the first time I had been out there, so I couldn't tell you exactly where we were.  Miles and miles of charred landscape from the fires.  Saw a couple of really bad car accidents on the way back too.  Kinda scary.
