I was riding down the interstate tonight when I noticed I was beginning to slowly lose power. I pulled into the far right line and all of the sudden heard a snap and my tires locked up. Luckily I was able to control the bike and not crash it. It was pretty dark, so I wasn't able to assess the damage. I took a cab home.

Anyone know a mechanic in the Atlanta area that I can tow my bike to in the morning for repairs?

Ok... it wasn't the chain. The chain is completely intact and the bike doesn't have any external signs of damage. I guess the motor blew?

Yikes!  :o  Sorry to hear about your problem, but glad you came out ok!  :thumb:

How's the oil level?

edit: make sure you check the oil level with the bike on centre stand and dipstick resting on top of the threads (i.e. NOT screwed in)
