Finally after many (MANY) months I have by GS back  :icon_mrgreen: Had the carbs cleaned and a new air filter fitted (annoying as I have a new one sitting in my garage!) and she is running as well as a GS does.

Do GS' have problems with their idling? The guys who "fixed" the bike said they had done all the work yet felt they hadn't actually found the cause of the problem. They still thought it was running a bit rough, although it is as fine as I can make out, it is an air cooled engine after all and they tend to sound worse/noisier then water cooled.

Well, now I can get out on it, although in typical UK weather style, had a great week until the day I get it back, now it is cloudy and threatening rain!

now if only the weather would cooperate. Or you could do like some of us and just ride it regardless of the weather.  :)

Go out... in the rain... are you mad man?!  :icon_lol: :icon_lol:  ;)

If I had somewhere I needed to be then I would, however it would have been riding for pleasure and it is bitterly cold at the moment and wouldn't be fun!
