Ive got a 99 GS500E and looking for stock SV bars or some other type that will fit for it - something without the welded nutserts in the bar ends  :mad:

Got a set of bar ends and they wont work with them, so time to upgrade!
1999 GS500E - Corbin Seat, Bar End Mirrors, K&N Lunchbox, Vance & Hines Exhaust, Carb Magic by Buddah, Progressive Front Springs w/ 15W,  EBC Front Pads, LED Front/Rear Signals, 15T Front JT Sprocket.

NEED:  Katana Rear Shock, OEM Rear Pads, New Chain!

The bars with welded inserts usually can be used with bar ends pretty well.
You just put the right bolt in the bar end and use a coupld of washers or a short nylon spacer and fit it. What bar end BTW, weights or mirrors.

Nope wont work Buddah - bar end mirrors and they slide into the bars then expand to stay.  I took the bar end sliders off the end and milled them down to 7/8s to clamp the bar end mirrors on for now, but Id like a legit setup.  Ill post pics later
