I was just taking off like normal, and after the bob b/vance ignition advancer was put in I guess there was a little more than normal or I gave it a bit more clutch or something, cause from a stand still my front wheel came off the ground pretty good.  I just set it back down, and kept going but it scared the crap out of me.  I've never done that on a street bike before, only dirt.  I'm gonna have to practice slipping second going 25 or so and see if I can play around with that some more.

Yah man. I hear ya. I wouldn't do it on purpose either... at least not on public roads.... I generally like to have the front end planted and engaged in twisties...

but still seems fun.  :icon_twisted:

a little too fun maybe.

congrats dude! :thumb:

I brought up my front wheel by accident for the first time a couple weeks ago...  The R6 is supposedly REAL easy to wheelie, but I never really attempted to try...

I was heading down a straight road, still in 1st gear...  I decided to just gun while I was already at around 11,000 RPM.  I actually felt the front wheel rise up...  scary as shaZam! if you're not expecting it.
