Jay_wolf

Well , This GSXR my mums Ex had , had a Ducati F/E  With Ohlins shocks and Brembo Brakes, Ducati S/W

And it was a Wheelie machine , then agen , he could wheelie anything with 2 wheels,

The GSXR 1100 is a big bike . The Zx6r didnt feel that heavy , and in the top Revs , a power wheelie , the Front did want to come up

How much Experiance do u have with Wheelies and stunting , also , what are the prices ?

the 1100 is a beast if you build it up, TONS of people bolt new suspensions and brakes onto them, huge aftermarket in the fighter community, tons of performance parts, those bikes can be be built to fly, but also weigh a lot. the old zx6 is a simpler easier lighter bike, and will still haul and move, but not like the 1100. easier to ride, better gas milage, lighter, cheap parts. it really comes down to what you feel more comfortable on, personally if im going for liter bike power, i want something LIGHT, so something as modern as possible. if they both run fine, id take whichever is cheapest man, and if they are equally priced, factor in what sort of riding you are going to do  - zx6 will crush an 1100 in the twisties, but straight line the gixxer wins, and if you plan on going streetfighter/performance, the gixxer is better, but the 6s look decent fightered. riding style will make a big difference later one, the 6 is more agile.

they are asking WAY too much man, hit me up, or craigslist. you can find a zx6 cheaper, and an 1100 cheaper. one that runs fine. no reason to throw a few grand away.

it sounds like you have small bike syndrome, and are just making snide comments. if he had tons of money, maybe he would, but obviously he doesnt, and hes looking for something budget, and you appear to be making generalized ignorant comments about his desires. i rock bikes that put down close to 200 rwhp and do over 200 on gps. all bikes are awesome, except for scooters, they arent bikes, they are just ghey. anyhow, if the dude wants to go fast, do wheelies, and be a hooligan, thats his prerogative, mind your own business if you dont have anything positive to say. and if i missunderstood what you meant, whatever, im just being a dork then and not getting your point, but.......

what sense does your comment make when he obviously is looking for something in the less than 8-10k price range?

GSXR 1100 is a Legendary bike in The Uk , The Original Hoolagan Bike ,  Myself i like the 7/11 Fighters , the 1100cc engine in the 750 frame . Awesome :thumb:

If you want to stunt, look at a Honda 9xx. Look on craigslist, it is hard to find anything near a stock one, and most are already set up for stunting (and used up, my favorite description was "gone down more times than my ex GF). GSXR1100, ZX6R's not so much. I know nothing about stunting BTW, but am probably going to a show this weekend.

those things are all over the place. just finding one 8 years old that hasn't been trashed is the problem ;)

i'd rather have a nice 500-600 cc bike with ergos, and WITHOUT the 'please steal me!' attention :)

I don't know anyone else posts on the mileage but you can't get that many miles out of a bike before having to do major overhaul work. 29000 seems a lot to me even on a bigger engine ii would go for least miles buti have no idea what i am talking about or at least thats what others might think.
It takes all kinds and I'm one of them
