I made up some bar ends thought you would like to see them. also a few pics of my fenderrectomy.
the bar ends are made up of stanless steel. they are .300" longer then stock.(stock lagnth is about 1.800" mine are 2.100")I was thinking about using stanless steel socket head cap screws and counter boring them so the bolts will be flush. I was unble to locate them in my small town so I used hexagon bolts.( still thinking about finding some cap scews next time I go into the cities)
the fenderrectomy was don on a verdicale band saw and turned out great nice and squar. it sits 1/4 under the lisece plate. I made up a jig and it cut like butter.

got my new springs in the mail today so i am very excited to get them in. I went with sonic. I thought about trying race tech but there web site was having problums. so sonic won.

I am about to turn 5000 miles on the gs and have injoyed riding and working on her. thanks for all the advice on the forum.

Dave

Countersink the bolt hole on the outer end and use a V head bolt, or end mill it and use a allen head. That way the end will look as cool as the product.
Cool.

Those are some seriously sweet bar ends.  :thumb:

Lost my left one on a ride this past weekend so I've been looking for a replacement. Is that solid stainless steel? I can definitely feel a difference in the vibration and want to get some weighted ends on there.
