Wow, was today a nice ride.  Went from Eureka, out the petrolia exit, all the way through petrolia, out 101 to the redwood scenic rockefeller drive, and back up home.  A nice 130 mile or so jaunt that has some of the best scenery in the country.  http://www.tuccycle.org/photoalbum/index.html This is the same route we took but a little different ride down the scenic highway instead.  My coworker took the pics of the slideshow thats posted and I've done all hundred miles on a bicycle as well!!!  Well, just thought I'd share. Man my butt is sore.

Ya man ! That's gotta be a fantastic ride, bike or motorbike ! We LOVED the Avenue of the Giants. Every now and then you just have to stop, get out (ya, we were in the wagon :( at the time) and walk through the sanctuary. Amazing beauty, unbelievable heights, unfathomable quiet. Loved it ! Thanks for sharing the ride, enjoy !

(just tried to pull the thread up outta tha gutter a little) :)

You know it man ! I'll be stuck in Alabama for another year or so, burning up their roads. Soon as the kids can enjoy a trip out west we're heading to the big crater, big hole, and the big trees. :D

Man, there is so much stuff around here that unless you're a local, you can't really experience very well.  This place has some tremendous sights to be seen if you know where they are.  Its kinda like hawaii.  The trees, flora and fauna, rivers, lakes, fishing, hunting and still unmolested forests that are federally protected.  Such an amazing piece of gods art!!!
