Selling this helmet:
http://www.revzilla.com/product/sparx-griffin-s07-special-edition-helmet

Bought a medium, but I wear a small.  It's a very nice helmet, though.  Ear spaces are large, first helmet where I didn't have to wiggle it around to adjust my ears.  Liner is awesome, better than KBC to me.  Fit is very nice, just too big for me slightly.  Has a breath deflector to prevent fogging, and works well.  Includes clear and tinted shields, and bag.  New in box, just opened and tried it on yesterday.

Trying to sell for $90, I'll pay shipping.  Wish I could give a better deal, but I'm on a college budget.  It's seriously new in the box, tried it on only once and took it right back off.  Made me very sad that it didn't fit, I think it's a gorgeous helmet.  Retailer says it's a close-out item, and sales are final (won't accept returns).

I'm in Greensboro, NC, so if you're local and want to take a look at it..... please do!

Okay, I guess I'll come down on the price, to promote a sale.  Say... $70.

My head measures 7 1/4, and I can twist the helmet around somewhat.  I can't quite get it around far enough to cover up one eye, but almost.  It's pretty even spacing all around, not too much in the cheeks or top of the head.  Just too much for me.  The finish doesn't show fingerprints, there seems to be a very light clear coat to prevent such a thing (even though it looks matte).  There's not a scratch or blemish on the thing whatsoever, I handled it very lightly.
I wore helmets for the past 8 years in the military, my tank helmet and just the regular kevlar, and have tried on many, many motorcycle helmets over the past few weeks.  After my military service, the top of my head is sensitive from the constant helmet pressure, and this is the first motorcycle helmet that I've found that doesn't give me a headache instantly upon putting it on.  There doesn't seem to be any tight bands around the inside, like that webmotorworld.com likes to talk about so much.  There's a button to clip the extra length of chin strap, and like I said, the liner is like baby sheep belly.

I can post any pictures that you would like, it's not a problem.  Just didn't want to fill up the thread with too many (dont know how you guys do things here, yet).  I was hoping to sell to someone here, since I'm a GS-500 owner, before I list on craigslist and worry about some crackhead coming to my house on a moped.

Thanks

Will

Oh yeah, one other small thing:

If you crash and screw up the helmet any bit at all within 5 years..... SparX will replace the helmet for free!  Send them the helmet back (not sure who pays the shipping) and a police report, and they send you a new helmet.

So... there's that.

Buy my helmet!!

Pretty sweet helmet.
I'd buy it in a second if it didn't have all that self-advertising all over it.
Are those X-cross-arrow things stickers or are they painted on?
How bout a shot straight on of the back?

Warranty card and all the little tags are still attached.  Little bag with earplugs, stickers, two spare plastic pieces (I assume, for the chin vent), and some little book (haven't opened the bag, so I don't know exactly).  Don't know if you can see it in the pictures, but there are vents in the back covered with wire mesh, which I think is a nice touch.

I'm so pissed that this thing doesn't fit me.  Here are more pictures of the bottom/back/etc.

Please disregard the little beetle on the carpet.  (Don't take pictures right beside the treadmill - future note).

And, the orange fuzz that you can kind of see on the underside, on the black velvety part, that's from the orange bag that the thing is shipped with.

As you can see, brand new.  Now, someone hurry up and buy it, please.  They're shipping the new one to my house today, and it kills me to have excess stuff around my house.

If there is a liner that can be changed in it, I'm thinking about buying it.

There are a couple of snaps in the back, and you can pull the liner most of the way out.  It's attached around the top of the sheild-to-helmet seal, around the forehead.  I'm not sure how to take it off of there, since it's my first MC helmet.  I don't want to screw it up, just tried it on my small one.  Looks easy enough to be able to wash it like that.  It comes out far enough to be able to wash the cloth pretty easily, to me.

For the price, I'm not complaining.

Oh, and I'm at 30 posts now, for anyone paying attention to that rule...

"Almost. I had a kitten once."
