Have you ever been really really happy...and then got happier??

Don't worry the GS500F isn't going anywhere anytime soon, I still love riding it as much as I did before I bought it's big brother  :thumb:

I have those E21s on my FZ6 - dandy luggage for commuting.

Bop on down to the Bay Area - we're warmer this time of year, and I'd love to compare it to my FZ.

Yes..I like the E21's  best for commuting or day trips because they top load, I also have a set of E36N luggage for camping or longer trips.

Five, a Wee Strom, Burgman 400, GSX650F, GS500F and a CH80. Every time my motherOutLaw says..."you can only ride one at a time" I go out and buy another, just to piss her off!  :dunno_white:

It's not that I have allot of money, I'm an old fart and my house, car, and all my other toys are paid for, so I can devote a large portion of my paycheck to my personal happiness  :thumb:

After 40 years of riding, motorcycles still make me happy......your day is coming!

Go buy an SV-650 and a GSXR-600.  Then you'll have the entire Suzuki middleweight lineup.   :icon_razz:

Let's hear some riding impressions once you put a few miles on it! :thumb:
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Well I have had it since Black Friday and have managed to log about 150 in town miles on it, so here is what I think so far. The first thing you notice is as soon as you bump the "Start Button" is that it springs to life and idles with an almost mesmerizing smoothness. Many people are concerned with it's Curb Weight: 241 kg (531 lbs) but this is only felt when you push it around in the garage, many testers claim it's weight is only an issue if you really have to toss it back and forth very quickly in the twisties, after all it's not a GSXR and believe it or not weight/mass is required for a good ride and is totally acceptable in a Sport/Touring bike, having said that a 1500 Lb Cadillac would ride like compost.  The seating position is very close to the one you are familiar with on the GS500. The engine is ELECTRIC SMOOTH and wants to spool up past the break-in limit of 6000 Rpm with a quickness. At one point I took it down to 1500 Rpm in 6th gear and then rolled the throttle on...it pulled from that Rpm smoother and with less complaining than my V-Strom that starts to complain at around 2500 Rpm in the same situation. So far so good I totally love it and do not regret buying it  :thumb:

I sure liked my GS500 gas milage of 60 mpg highway last summer. :icon_lol:
Once you get your new 650 broke in...please let us know how its doing on fuel.
Somehow I don't think the low gasoline prices will last forever.  :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks and it looks like a good upgrade for someone who likes the 500.
