I have a nearly new front rotor off of an 08.  It came with a rim I bought and I already have an EBC so I don't need it.  It's mint and doesn't even have a scratch on it.  It is from a reputable salvage yard and has a bit over 1k miles on it.  It fits all years.  Anybody want it?  I'm too lazy to upload photos so if you want one I'll email it to you.

If you have some really sad story and desperately need a front rotor give me a good reason and it's yours for free.  If it's really sad and pathetic I'll pay shipping too.  If you just need because it's pretty and it's cheaper than ebay...be prepared to pay!!!!!!!

I still have this.  Hoping to give it to someone who can come up with a good reason that they NEED it.

If noone needs it, I'll sell it to someone who just wants it.  Please don't PM me, just post your offer or your sad story.  It's more fun that way.

I can't come up with any sob story, but I will need one soon for sure. My '02 is still on its first front rotor and has been through a handful of track events. Last time I checked the thickness, it was close. I haven't checked it after my last event, but I imagine it's not getting any thicker!  :dunno_white:  I could at least pay for shipping, though if you decide not to give it away I'll make an offer. Sure beats paying for a new one.

I can only say that it'll go to a good home and be used very hard. And since I'm a cheapskate and will likely use mine beyond the service limit, and then it'll crack or something, maybe you'll be saving my life!  :icon_mrgreen:

How long is a front rotor supposed to last? My bike has 17,000 miles, only 4,000 of which are mine. The bike had no service record so I've been slowly replacing everything before next year when it will be used as my only motorized transport in college. Its not really a sob story, I just don't have any money. Since its hard enough to save up for an OEM air filter and some cans of spray paint, I wasn't going to look into replacing anything brake related for a long time.
So yeah, I don't know if I need a rotor, but when I do I'll have to find one super cheap.

these are the worst sob stories ever!!!!   :D

I was really hoping to give it away to a needy person.  I'll give it one more day (until tuesday at 9 EST) for a really needy person to post.  After that I'll entertain offers.

I actually NEED a front rotor to get my bike to pass MD state inspection.  I had no clue how expensive these things are when I bought the bike or I definitely would have used that as a negotiating point.  Like most everyone right now in this economy I am strapped for cash at the moment so the bike rotor is very low on my priority list.  I am fortunate enough to still have a job at this point so I wouldn't feel right taking it for free.  Let me know if you decide to sell it cheap.  Thanks

Do you mean rotor?  Since you've recieved a free part in the past you'd normally be disqualified, but I think we could work out a deal/exception.  How about I give you this rotor for free and I'll pay shipping too.  There would be two conditions...

1.  you send me that head I'm waiting for.  I can't move forward on my project without it and could really use it in the next few days.
2.  move 5th Ave's stuff to the front of the shipping list too.

So basically it's a bribe.  If you can do those two conditions (or at least the first one  :D)then the rotor is all yours.  Then we're all winners.

Yes I want a GS motor ... whoo hooo I am getting a free GS motor ... waaaaa hoooo ...
OK sorry kids. My Idiotif work is killing me. 14 hour days, not that i work 14 hours, I work 8 hours, and commute 6 ...

Dont need rotor, give it to someone who does. I'd have to do these for you 2 and get them out right ... no need to have to bribe me. Your head is easy, but my wife couldn't lift it and she dropped off stuff @ PO yesterday. I would rather hand it to someone instead of the APC @ the post office cos @ the APC teh thing drops 6ft onto hard ass floor I think. This saturday I made a surprise run to asheville, and that killed my only chance of sending it @ PO when they're open.

Canada - same problem.I think if I have it ready for a satudray ship out in 5th ave's case I am good. ineedanap, I may send yours in a day or 2 when I can sneak off from work.
