High point. It may actually be the head quarters of GS fairing mods.
Werase did average's last year, I did cheesy's 3 years ago ... and we are in W-S and charlotte respectively.

PM average and werase643 and see what they say.

Holy sh*T Budha ive read your on like every thread on this site never noticed you were in charlotte But yuh  fairing modes are everywhere around here my boy took an 92 fzr 600 and tricked it out with all custom fairings back in the day. you have a shop or nething in winston

The Buddha

No shop, no tools, no nothing, I beat em with my bare hands and mangle up to whatever I want ... muhahaha ... wait a sec, cough cough cough ... ahem ... where was I ... oh yea, mu hahahaha hahaha ...

Well fairign on  the GS isn't as easy, the damn mounts etc etc have to be fabbed up for it. Its easily a few hours work if you do it sloppily, and I did a factory style job welding up thread bosses etc, much much harder. Took me 2 weeks of off and on work. I made tail section brackets that will fit without welding on cheesy/tarzan boy's bike.
Look for tarzan boy's posts and pics about it. It eventually went to another gstwinner.

Yuh i just want the nose I could care less about the side fairings i read about over heating issues etc because of no oil cooler i just want the belly pan and the nose i prefer half fairing bikes and  my friend has a monster rear seat were gonna do some sub frame mods so i wont need a rear plastic that was the first thing i took off i chopped it up last made it a little slimmer

The Buddha

I guess then you put a piece of 1X2 on the steering neck and weld it up and drill and put it on it ... you dont care about aligning the thing ...

GSF fairing requires welding a tab on the steering head to accommodate the fairing stay, as well as drilling holes into your frame to mount the brackets that hold the fairing.

If you want everything to look right, then you need to change the tail plastics for an '01+ model, which also requires welding new mounting brackets onto the sub frame, as well as changing the seat and tank out as well.
