How much are you trying to get for the engine?

How much you got?

Just kidding.  I really don't have a firm price.  If a buyer is willing to pick it up (and save me the packaging hassle) I'm even more willing to work on the price.  It has to be more than it's worth parted out.  I've already had some people approach me for parts.

Well I guess I have to ask, how much would it be worth if you parted it out? :icon_question:

If you're considering parts, what would you take for the V&H Advancer? :icon_mrgreen:

Oh no,  I'm trying to avoid taking this engine apart.  There are so many boxes in my house already!

How about...

$150 for the whole motor minus rotor cover if it gets picked up from my house.  (Please someone do this one).

$250 plus crating and shipping if I have to ship the darn thing...and no rotor cover

or make an offer.

Oh, ok, I must have misread your post when someone asked about parts. Woops, haha.

Whatever didn't sell is going on Ebay on wednesday the 23rd.  I hate ebay fees so if someone is interested in any of this before then, we might be able to work out a good deal.

OK, here's the rest of my GS.  Some of the highlights are

Kind of ugly but straight clear Michigan title 90 GS500e frame.

Dynatec adjustable rev limiter.  Will need to extend the wires.  Instructions are included and it's pretty straightforward.  SOLD

90 GS500E engine with 17,000 miles.  Vance and Hines advancer, new tensioner, and new clutch actuator.  There are 900 miles on a set of SV650 clutch fibers, steels, and springs.  It runs well, no smoke, no leaks, no strange noises...just the regular GS noises.  Shifts as good as a GS can.  Valves were checked 3 months ago and all were good.  Eats less than a quart of oil per 1000 miles.  Probably won't include chuck billet rotor cover.  Bigshot called dibs on the cover 5 months ago.

Ducati mirrors.  I got them to fit my setup earlier in the year.  That was a complete custom dash, though and it I would imagine it will take a whole lot of mods to fit a stock GS.

Ducati windscreen.  Hacked up to fit dual headlights.  Has kind of neat mounting brackets for dominator dual headlight setup.

Pair of coils that work.

Sealed (no vent tube necessary) battery.  One year old.  I'm pretty sure you'd have to pick this up.  I think mailing it is a no no.

Whatever else you see in the photos.

Some of this stuff is great, some is junk.  Let me know what you're interested in and I'll tell you if it's worth your time.

I'd like the duc screen ... but depends on $.
Cool.
Buddha.

How about free... + $14 shipping.  That would leave plenty of room in that box for other stuff too.   :D

Oh, and I offered someone else $200 + shipping on the motor.   In order to be fair it's now $200 + shipping for everybody if he decides not to buy it.  That does not include a rotor cover. Still doing the crazy combo sale of $150 for the engine and frame if you pick it up.

Hi there,
What would you take for the side body panels, the front fender and the little piece that does between the side body panels over the tail light (if you have that piece)?
My zip is 17520 in PA.
Are the pieces in good condition?
I'd like them as spares for a crazy paint scheme I have in my brain.
:)
Thanks.

Well first I'd have to take them out of my trash can.  I'm keeping all of those pieces there for safe keeping.   :D  I'd be willing to let them go for the price of shipping, but even that seems like too much to pay.

NO, they have an urban look going.  Lots of scratches.  One side is missing one tab.  Some clown PO drilled 2 small holes in each side cover for flushmounts.  Fender has a crack thru one hole but still works.   If I remember right the tiny tab that holds the center piece on is broken, or is it the side piece tab...oh hell, probably both by now.

FYI on the battery. I have the same one in my GS, and it came via USPS.
