Lots of car dealerships use those around here, maybe in Scotland too?
Hmmm, good point. Maybe that's what keeps the cars dry from all the rain?
Don't use both feet to test the depth of a river.

As I said in my first post... car yards is One place you can look.

Now more specifically... if you look at the VW center on Whitehill Rd next to Edinburgh Fort retail park... I think you'll find your Shade Sail... or something like it which is passable... on the road between the two.

Also, The Sail Loft is supposed to sell them. Give them a call and ask for an address where you can see one.

Plus, people in your neck of the woods are buying them for their 2nd flr/mezzanine balconies. You might be able to spot them between buildings. :dunno_white:

Crap. Its too windy here, those are up all over here, but no one has em up this week. If I see one, I will get the pic for sure. But can't promise yet.

pave_spectre

We took ours down at work not too long ago in preparation for cyclone season :(
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

This week?

What kind of Shade Sails do you have where they are taken down and put up on such a whim? All the ones around here are semi permanent.  You can take them down - but - it's not a five minute thing.

Your bike with a Shade Sail.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was after. Would hopefully involve riding a nice mountain pass to get to the spot to take the pic  :)

Yeah, we got the turn signal when cental Florida was hit with four hurricanes in one season five years ago. It fell down by the house and was banged up pretty bad city told roomie have at it since they could not use it!

Those garbage cans are all around town. Esp. in historic down town like I said Kissimmee is cheap!

Now on the lookout Splash Mt is our highest peak here don't think I'll get Flick up that. Would an ocean lookout work?

Yeah, any lookout if fine. The main thought behind the lookout idea was just that they tend to be in places that are a fun ride to get to. Many coast roads fit that objective nicely as well.

This is known as the Ipswich Water Tower lookout. It's a top the water tower which is atop Denmark Hill in Ipswich. The entire area around it is a conservation park. http://www.discover-our-ipswich.com/denmarkhillconservationpark.html The tower has Plaques around at the top - you can see one in the photo next to the pole which holds the CCTV - which describe what you are looking at.

Next Challenge: You bike in front of Security bollards in front of a store.

Had to do some chores this morning (Saturday 12). And while out I had to ride past the 1.7 click road up to one of our city's lookouts. So figured a few minute dash up the hill would not make me late. The "Mt Coot-Tha" is the other main and well known lookout of the city. Mt Coot-Tha is the one I ride around in my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqOvfEqEyUw and the lookout is gotten to by turning right at the round-a-bout instead of going left like I did in the vid. Both places are CBer havens and as busy as on Fri and Sat nights. Was going to post this as a Bump but saw Mary already has, so added it here instead. Oh, photo taken at the Mt Gravatt lookout.

Every year the house five doors up does this. They have a garage which has been converted into a room w/ glass sliding doors replacing the roller door. Each year they fill that room w/ a nativity scene and  put the light on at night so people can see. This year... nadda. Maybe they finally got fed up trying to compete with the house around the corner who goes all out w/ a complete front yard display - yeah yeah, pics or it didn't happen, ok I'll get em... of the house that it. Nat Scene is another story...

Considering it's winter and I've got the R6 put away, I'm out of the game unless you guys allow cages.

What I did on the R6 site was to allow the use of cages IF AND ONLY IF there was snow.

How 'bout it?
