the guy befor me did some work on the rear fairing on the 96.  i just gotta find a tail light that will look right bc i think its sweet looking. any ideas on a light?

well its been awhile since i started this.   got some new toys that i gotta work on for the kids, picked up my dream truck (tho not in dream truck condition but ill fix that)
finally have both the 89 and 96 frames stripped down.  decided to go with the 96 frame bc it was easier to get the title in my name.   

so now i gotta get it sanded down, paint it and hopfully remember how it goes back together! haha    ill post pics when i can   im tired and i gotta work tomorrow.   


two things im looking for are a sissy bar for my wife.   also a cafe fairing.    probably some more but only time will tell.   got the plans set so it whould start coming together soon.

be faster if my katana 750 would sell!

If you have to, you could probably weld something up on the stock grab handle.

well see my plan is to convert it into more of a cruiser style.   im pulling back the handle bars, hopefully changing out the seat, fabricating a better rear fender,   stuff like that

Uhm, wow never heard "cruiser" and "gs500" in the same sentence LOL. Did you still need some of the stuff in your first post.  If so I got things like brake and clutch lever, front tire, rear rim, and a few other minor things!

ill have to check.   i think i have the levers,   what rear rim do you have?   i have a stock gs500 but i would like to change that if the prices are right.

ok finally have some updates on this..... frame is in primer at this point.   every thing is disassembled and hopefully i remember or can find the pics i took when taking apart.

its slow progress but i have three kids and have tons of other projects.  im hopefully gonna be working on this more.
