O.C.D.

I should have said "so where is the replacement signal flasher", lol.  I know where it is on the frame.

So I need this with the above mentioned diode setup?!

Seems like this will do it all for you?  Any input from others?

Thanks Paulcet!

Ok so here is the run down. I just got 4 LED T/S and hooked them up and got the same problem all 4 on at one time. I didn't want to have to buy more to get them to work so.....  I tried something most will not try  :nono: but i did anyway. I'v read the posts about you have to add this and that buy this install that. When the whole time the relay is looking for more load. Right? So i was thinking what do i have that i do not have to buy more and more. Then it hit me if it wants more load then give it to it. Well i did i hacked up my back OEM T/S and got the light housing (just the wires and metal housing) covered the bulb in black tape tapped in to + & - on the LED's with them and tucked them under my seat and BLINK !!!!   BLINK !!!! worked like a charm!     :woohoo:

no out of pocket money and your good!!!!!

i know most of you out there are going the dumb  :cookoo: azz but hey they work and im happy with it.

You do realize resistors are only like a couple bucks.

No problem with that approach, except that with the bulbs taped up they may get hot and blow. The fact that they're only on half the time might save them though.

For the people with all four lights on: If you pull the bulb out of the panel indicator light, you will only get the side you want, but the standard flasher still won't flash without a load.

You can also just change the bulbs out to LED's with built-in resistor circuits.

Mkay, I just got the electronic flash controller and popped it in. Pretty trick. I got some diodes as well and found this link that tells you how to wire them up.

http://www.kuryakyn.com/documents/installation/4709-21MC-0703.pdf

What directions should the diodes face? They have those little lines of paint that indicate their positive and negative sides.

Right now the signals are functioning perfectly, but I'm assuming when I wire in my indicator light (got the goodies for that too) its going to create a bridge for the power to flow back and cause all four to light up. So I'll need to wire in the diode. I can either try to find the stock indicator wire light or I can run new wires, I wonder if that back flow would still happen if I just tapped the wire running out of the switch.

I'll have to check my diagram and just try some stuff I suppose.

the little lines on the diode should be on the side closest to the bulb.
