Sitting here watching the Dolphins/Jets game...boring! So, I thought I'd post up a picture of my bike. Only been riding for about a year and started out with a '91 GS500E. After a few months I came to realization that I wasn't really comfortable on a 20 year old bike. So I upgraded to a '06 with 1500 miles on it. It's parked now for the winter, and time to mod it out a bit. I just put on the D&D slip on last week... still need to do re-jet sometime. Trying to decide what else she needs?

Shaddow

Flush mounted LED blinkers. Tinted weather shield (double bubble or touring). The reflectors need to accidentally fall off too.

How accurate would you say this video is as far as the sound of your D&D is?  I was thinking about getting one myself but I dont want anything too too loud.  and where did you get yours, good price?

fraze11: The video is pretty accurate. I was actually worried about it being to loud as well, but it really has a nice deep rumble sound. I got a really good deal on it ($50 on ebay), I had been looking for one for a while and finally found one for a good price.

XLAR8: Yeah... it would be nice to ride year round without having to dress up like the little kid in A Christmas Story

1 full leathers, full on race boots, full back protector, neck, elbows, shins, knees, etc - this stuff is cheap compared to skin grafts
2 better helmet- you'll love it !
3 ear plugs, every ride
4 sticky tars
5 valve check
6 oil change
7 rejet
8 15 or 14 tooth front sprocket
9 kick start (you would be the first on a gs)
10 spoke wheels - those would be soooooo badass looking
11 promise to never put neon on it
12 - 20 promise to never think "I look cooooool !" when you're riding.
21 promise to never, ever, ever rev the lawnmower...AHEM gs at stop signs or in traffic
22 never attempt to race anyone
23 - infinity - take an advanced riding course, be aware, ride safely, marry a rockstar model, get fat and bang like monkeys

don't take motorcycling to serious. it's just a bike.

oh, enjoy the twisties, and slow down.

good ?
