The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

It was 62 today I rode to PT. Happy to report no more oil leaks!

I got a nice surprise this morning...it was supposed to be -28C (-18F), -38C with wind chill...but was happy to see -23C (-9F) and only light wind...

There is a 4-5ft burm down the center of my road that the snow plow left there yesterday during the day...I'd be really ticked if I lived on the other side of the road...I just have to go the other way for a block when I leave in the morning, turn around and head to work (little traffic)...if I lived on the other side, I would have to do that trick at 5:30pm when everyone else is getting home...I guess I would just have to come into the neighbourhood from the other direction, oh well...not my problem...

Atleast the cold snap is breaking...should be 10 deg warmer by next week...then maybe I can start walking the dog again (paws freeze in this weather)...

Later.

Huh.  It's been dry 4 or 5 days and started raining before lunch, and I was getting some amazing wheelspin from 3 verticle, left tire track, stops.

Hmm... How long since last ride, that'd be probably an hour and 30 minutes.. I rode into work this morning, it was only 20*F or so.

Don't feel too bad...I just shovelled and scraped my driveway and sidewalk last night...took about and hour...now there is a 6" bump to go up to get onto the road...and it snowed another 3-4" overnight...gotta luv the north...-24C (-11F) right now...woo hoo...I haven't even started my bike since Nov. 14th...

Oh well...new toy this season...just need to replace the rear tire that I wore out last season so the bike is ready to train a new rider...
