I can't view the forum:  sorry guest, you are banned: spammer.  This is at work and at home, with 3 browsers, after clearing cookies on all 3.  This has been happening over 90% of the time over the last 2 months.  It happened when I hadnt logged in for MONTHS, and I certainly hadn't been posting anything.  It's obvious that my account isnt blocked, since I was able to log in on my phone.  It happens when clicking on google results when I'm not logged in or trying to log in.

My roommate has no problems viewing the board, nor do my coworkers.  This leads me to believe it's not an ip ban.

So if it's not my account and it's not an ip ban, what is it?

Karma comes from what users give. I can turn it off. Its basically cloud users giving you good karma for your good behavior on the board.

Sorry, just checked again...it's there.  User error, just getting used to the new look.

sure next time I take the server down I shall do that. Image Resize is already set but only for uploaded images not linked. I'll fix that in 2 weeks.

I'm pretty new around here, but I have one respectful suggestion: Lock the size of the rotating news banner on the homepage, so that the page doesn't jump around as I'm trying to figure out which of the lovely categories I wish to visit next. (Viewing on Explorer, works the same way on Safari.)

Every time I would visit, I'd get a lunarpages error saying that "the site was experiencing difficulties". Yet, it doesn't appear to have affected everyone because it's obvious people have been posting during the time it was blacked out.

My iPhone told me I could download tapatalk to view tge forum instead of safari. I downloaded it and the forum is there but it can't connect and tells me to contact admins. Can this be sorted by any chance?

Firstly, there's a button with a Mona Lisa on it that does it automatically.

I've seen other SMforums that have video embedding (for youtube links). That would make the video tutorial thread a whole lot easier to use (and much more of an asset).
