So far I have changed the oil and filter, lubed the chain, adjusted rear brake, replaced air filter and lubed some pivot points. Getting new tires this weekend. I don't think this bike as ever seen water, it is very clean. Paint and decal look great, cables and hoses look good, engine runs great, shifts great, rides nice.   
What about wheel bearings and swaybar....... anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated.
I used to ride in the dirt back when I was young but have not touch a bike since 1982.

Anyways, you can check the wheel bearings after pulling the axles out. Just stick your finger in and roll it around- if it feels like anything other than smooth they need replaced. The swingarm bushing takes a little more muscle (and help). With the bike on the center stand, have somebody else hold the bike steady. Then try to twist the swingarm in different directions. Any noticeable play, and you're looking for a replacement.

Chances are it sounds like the bike should be in fairly good shape though.

How did you adjust the rear brakes(there really is none) and there is no swaybar on a motorcycle.

Swaybar? Are you referring to the SWINGARM? The (rear) swingarm holds the rear wheel...

Got to luv the tail pipe, pcv,,,, I'm going to try and match it to the decal color this winter.
I hate to ride cuz its so clean but....... get on your bad motor scooter and ride, ride, ride and ride....
I'll do my best to keep it tip top condition.

@ ben2go, rear brake adjust. Remove the 3 screws that hold on the cover and rear brake cylinder to the frame, reattach 2 screws to re-anchor the cylinder, loosen jam nut on cylinder rod and adjust cylinder rod, be careful not to twist the rod rubber boot to much when turning the rod. I turned the rod, locked the nut and twisted boot back straight. I repeated this a few times till I got the proper pedal throw. 1.25 inch from the bottom of the foot peg is the spec in table 9 of the Clymer manual.  Once done, remove cylinder screws and reattach the cover and cylinder.
Re-measure, Be careful not to over adjust.  There isn't a whole lot of adjustment so next time I will be replacing the caliper pads.

I know.I been riding a lot and mine looks it's age.I guess I'll wash it after the rain passes this weekend.

I doid read Playboy for the articles, cos my tastes are a little more special interest so most of their pics bore me.  They used to run some pretty good stories, haven't picked up an issue in a while.

More on topic, what is that kitchen appliance on the end of your exhaust?
