F variant mirrors

Ok, so I took a tumble the other week. Damage was limited to a broken mirror and the front right indicator being punched through the fairing. Fairing is now fixed but need a replacement mirror.

Went into the local bike shop yesterday and the Suzuki ones, by part number, are shorter than what I have on my bike. They look stock, so unless there is an oem type that is just slightly longer then buggered if I know whats going on.

My (still functional) one has a stalk length of 140mm.
The new Suzuki part seemed only about 120ish.

What's standard? And anyone know what the longer variant is called (if not stock)?

Cheers,
Hayden.

I didn't know Suzuki made any other size other than the stock. I decided to go integrated I got some GSXR signals and really like it and put some flushmounts over the holes. Here are the mirrors.

Here are the flushmounts

erm...
it looks like you "attached" the new mirrors to the fairing only, rather than use the old holes?

If so, that means that if you ever tip it over, or scrape too close to the side of something, there's a good chance you'll rip the fairing out.
As opposed to the old way, which has the mirrors anchored to the front subframe.. which means the stalk bit of the mirror will probably snap off, but leave the rest of the bike okay.

Not quite what you are thinking. NO I didn't use stock holes because you wouldn't be able to see properly. I made backing plates I did a write up about it so you can see the work I put into it. There are no vibes the fairing is not in danger of cracking and I see 95% of stock even better behind me.

Mary love those white wheels on your bike

EMGO makes mirrors that look 90% the same as stock. You can tell they are different if you install one of each on either side and look carefully. Maybe you have the EMGO mirrors? The nice thing is, they are much cheaper than stock and almost as nice.
