Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My name is Kyle and Im stationed at Ft. Drum, NY. Ive been in the US Army for around 5 years now. Just got back from Afghanistan a few months ago. I bought a 2001 GS500 a few weeks ago and quickly fell in love with this bike.

Hi everyone,

I'm Chuck in Phoenix.  I've got an '09 500 F.  It's my first bike, and I love it.  I bought it in Apr'11 and didn't do much riding over the summer since it was 110+ degrees for most of it, and when it's that hot outside, I don't even want to open the door.

I'm putting in the miles in the cool weather and mild winter we've got this year, planning to hit 500 miles by the time I've had my motorcycle license for a year.

  Carlos here in the DMV...  For those that dont know, thats DC/MD/VA... I live in Md, but I'm 10 minutes from DC and VA (NOVA). I have a 02 GS500 w under 6k on her... Been riding for years but this is the first bike I purchased as an adult. Ive had her for a week and look forward to riding her each day it doesnt rain...

I just got her in Feb, upgraded from my Honda Nighthawk 250 (which is also an awesome little bike), and I'm pretty much gonna be racking up nearly 1000 miles a month now until November.
