I used JB weld and powder coated my tank. It turned out really well.

I did 4 coats on each part I painted without letting it fully dry. (pretty much everything minus the engine!)
But I did follow the directions I read and let it go for 15 mins at least between coats.

and everything came out Great!

Cheapest Spraymax clear coat I found on the web. (if you purchased it online)

I've seen that guide before, but I've been following the paint thread on here someone posted. I guess it only looks half done because it only is half done. Only 2 coats on, I need another can of spraymax.
In regards to the finish, specifically sanding, do I do the final sand (1500/2000) after the 4th coat or before? It looks semi okay now, though I suspect while I wait for the other can to ship, some orange peel will come through. Thanks for the tips.
