It mounts below the swing arm. Purpose is to keep toes out of the chain and sprocket when racing & dragging your foot.
I think they look cool. Helps keep hands out of sprocket when rotating wheel & cleaning & lubing the chain.
Mounts on an "L" bracket you have to make out of piece of steel or aluminum or you could screw to side of swing arm. Could also mount on a flat piece screwed to the inside of the swing arm.

It is universal - can go on any brand to model of bike.

Im interested in the speedo- do you know if it would work on a 1990 gs500e?

Speedo is the same for all years.

Do you still have a seat that will fit a '98E?

I'll inventory the seats this weekend. I have a couple - need get them down to see the condition.

I have one remaining. Not perfect. Seems to have been recovered. It looks pretty good. A couple blemishes as you can see. No tears or rips. Material looks fresh and soft. Missing a couple bumpers. Can't locate any spares right now but you can move bumpers from your present seat. Shoot an offer.

How about a rear sprocket?

I still have the complete one - with all brackets, fasteners and screws.

are we talking the full front and lower fairings with headlight also ?

It is everything from a 2006. Headlight, upper, lower, brackets, mirrors....

I need a clutch cable. Got the other parts today..

Clutch cable going out.

Still lots of stuff. Including all the bolts and axles including engine bolts and spacers. Lock sets. and other stuff.

Seems nobody really wants the fairings. I'll pull the headlight and ebay it. Ebay the front bracket, flush mounts, lock set.  Probably ebay the rest for whatever I can get.

Just ask.

just a few more weeks and I'll be able to get your entire fairings set if you'll still have them 

I really want to get rid of it.
Make an offer. If you put down a deposit - I'll hold it for you.
Otherwise whoever pays first or may part it out and sell the headlight and stuff separately.
