Ordered new brake pads, accidently got HH grade. I'm thinking they might be a bit too much for the bike. I don't feel like having super grabby brakes as i do a LOT of in town riding.

Does anyone else have these? Opinions?

For the front, I've read awhile ago that they are recommended.

for the rear, GG I think it is.

Pretty certain I have HH on the front.

I forget as I replaced the front pads before I even had the bike on the road when I first bought it last year.

HH is a great front brake upgrade, in terms of feel it Definetly feels more powerful and gives you some real confidence. Just by way of asking is your rotor still in spec?

I've run EBC HH pads front and rear.  Much better stopping power and it's smooth and progressive, not grabby.  The GS rear brake locks up a bit easy if hit quick and hard in an emergency with standard linings.  Try front EBC for a while and wait until you have some experience with the GS rear brake before using HH in rear, I use to say don't put HH on the rear until you have 100k miles GS experience.   :nono:

Oh. Well thank you guys.

I was a bit worried that they would be far to grabby for the bike and was going to return them. But i'll trust you guys and keep em.
Thanks!
