I swear I saw that bike a few days ago with no engine in it. Amazing work.

I guess this isn't going to be an everyday bike. Otherwise, first day in the rain and it doesn't look showroom anymore. Maybe you could get Aurora Suzuki to put it on display in their window with those old Hondas.

Holy cow! I checked the picture dates. You're right! Last Saturday when you were over the engine was on the cart. I put it in Sunday and a couple days later it was running with gas.

I'll save some pizza, beer and a ride on Phenix for you Saturday.

Top right got a heavy dose of 2kMax clear coat tonight (I stunk up my office   :flipoff: )

Got the mud guard and horn mounted. Tank got buffed. Tank valve and Roaring Toys gas cap. Making sure no leak from tank valve before installing. Still need that fuel line that should be here tomorrow.(Have some new and used if I need it). Did a "hillbilly carb sync".

Made plans for ordering pizza (my gym trainer owns a really good pizza shop).

Trying to clean up the cave and get things put away.

I hope a lot of riders come over. We can wrench all day. Have pizza. Beers. Ride the Phenix!

Want to put in new plugs tomorrow and do an oil change.

Man, I can't wait to go for a ride.

Might I suggest riding him prior to the beers?

Hate to see all that hard work messed up because someone had impaired riding skills..

I'm excited to see Phenix all put together up close. I think I'll go for a ride today since I got motorcycles on the brain.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Pizza ordered. Going for a beer run now (on Suzi).
What to do with all the tails I have? Make more bikes? This is just part of what I have. I need therapy  :cookoo:

He's just about ready for tomorrow. I'm sure there will be little things all the twinners coming over can help with or decide what can make Phenix better. A few things to do in the morning before we start riding the shaZam! out of him. Should have an oil change. Would like to polish the pipes; put on the R&B muffler guards. I bet a couple of us working could do all that in 20 minutes.

This tail got the most votes. Thank you!

Got Karma Korn and beers for tomorrow  :icon_lol:

I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

I HAD to take Phenix for a short ride to get the brake pads to seat, insure things were tight and put in fresh gas. At first he was peeing from the air box peenis type thingy but that stopped. Amazing for the first venture out of the Bike Cave. Other than a slight hanging idle (I think sticky carb - starter spray shows no air leaks; slip the clutch and it goes back down; motor had bad previous owner) all I can say is.........

Is there one part - bolt, nut, whatever that I could prt on Phenix to truly continue the circle of life?

PS: Even if I put something somewhere symbolically in honor of your bike. That would be nice.
