Wow.  That's a $200 bike if I've ever seen one.

Come on guys. I'm sure you could pop out that dent in the tank and just buff out that rust...right?  :flipoff: Then some stickers on the exhaust to cover up the dents. Plus make things go faster.   :thumb:

Holy crap! $700! I'm going fr it and have it towed - unless it is stolen. That's only reason I can think of for a $700 price.

2005 Suzuki GS500 21XXX miles, doesn't run, doesn't start, no idea what's wrong with it.

I'll say again--NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. I am not a mechanic.

Yup. Awfully hard to ride w/o the key, especially if the steering is locked.

Okay talked to the kid that owns this bike. He said a neighbor took the bike for a joy ride and crashed the bike. Front parts...forks, etc destroyed and the bike doesn't run! I explained to him that he's not gonna get what he's asking. He went down to $1000 then just now text me, $850 but will take $650. Shouldn't that title say salvaged? He claims it's clear...I guess I was born yesterday! He also claims to have parts to fix it. He's 15 and I would rather talk to an adult about it.

Title would be clear unless an insurance  company took it. If you crash your bike and sell it, the title is still  clean. Even if it burns up (too soon?) it would be a clean title unless an insurance  company took it and paid you for it. Never would be "salvage" or anything like that unless some entity files paperwork with the state to that regards.

Talk to the kid's parents. 15 years old, has a crashed bike and now wants to buy a truck?

Like that $700 one in my area is probably stolen or a scam.

Not craigslist, but wow this thing is clean.  I really like this old-school standard bike design.

Its still a GS! Its just got 200 more of them GS's than out GS500's.
If it were here, I'd snatch it up. I'm short one bike until I get Junior fixed.

That thing is gorgeous.  Kind of looks like a BMW K75s.

Too bad the dude can't seem to take any pics without using Instagram...other than that, looks like it might be a good deal for someone more southern than me.

That owner needs to come on here.  I'm pretty sure you can use the new carbs on the older bikes.  I think adidas does on one of his.
